Tim & Kylie Andrew’s wedding was AMAZING to say the least. They were married in front of an old barn under a big tree before family and friends on Kylie’s family property in Riwaka, just a little north-west from Motueka in Tasman Bay, New Zealand.
Tim & Kylie were the winners of Wild Hearts Wedding Fairs inaugural wedding show ‘Free Wedding’ comp back in 2015 with vendors supplying everything from the cake to the styling and decorations, hair & makeup and of course the photography to name a few.
Styled by Balencia Lane and with florals by Karen Gray at The Wilde Florist I knew it was going to be a cracking wedding!
The weather was fantastic. Warm and bright with a touch of breeze. The girls were stunning in complimenting colours of blush pink, champagne and burgundy and the fellas suave in crisp whites with blue ties.
Kylie wore a stunningly contemporary gown by Sally Eagle with criss-cross strapping across the back and Tim wore a classy Navy suit by Barkers – epic!
The reception festivities were held in a magnificent euro style tipi and with festoon lights and laughter the best was yet to come!
Tim & Kylie couldn’t bear to have anyone else cater for them so they did it themselves, whipping up a storm in the makeshift kitchen (they are restaurant owners themselves 😉 ) with the local lads, Beau, Floyd and Darrian helping out too.
To top it all off, the most magnificent clear sunset gave us an opportunity to get some magic hour shots. 9 times out of ten it happens during the middle of speeches but on this occasion we were waiting to dance! You just can’t beat the perfect golden sunset, the perfect end to a wonderful day.
BUT WAIT! We all managed to cap it off with gin. Glorious gin!
